Since 2014 I have been fully self-employed and have used these exclusive fabrics, as well as synthetic and genuine leather, in an extensive range of 'Punto Belle' products. I have always had a love and fascination for costumes in high-end TV productions and feature films. My passion to learn more and progress has increased rapidly over the years and I find myself spending all my spare time using my sewing skills, creativity and a keen eye for detail to further my natural flair in costumery. Through experience and determination, I have taught myself pattern cutting and costume construction through sewing patterns, books, blogs, and online videos. Through a traineeship in the costume department, I am eager to learn the intricacies, techniques, and skills involved in costume making, and to develop my abilities from a passionate amateur to a professional maker. I am excited to be able to work alongside other like-minded people - collaborating to create something spectacular. I love the excitement and curiosity that costume making brings, whether it is working with a new fabric or using a newfound skill; I find that costume making allows me to use more of the skills that I am so fond of, that drives my passion, and that I don't have the opportunity to use for my work in the travel accessories sector. I am eager and have a strong willingness to get stuck into any task. I thrive in a pressured environment and I am someone that loves solving problems that arise and can work well with deadlines.
